Workshop "Participate" - Erasmus+ Project "Empowering Young People of African Origin for Political"

The workshop is going to take place from 26 to 28 November 2016 in Berlin. It is the first workshop and one of the key activities of the project, which is coordinated by Farafina Institute and funded by the European Commission, Directorate General Education and Culture through Erasmus+. The related Key Action is "Support for Policy Reform".

Farafina partners for this project are AKOMA Bildung & Kultur (German partner) and African & Caribbean Diversity (UK partner).

The workshop is organised in cooperation with AKOMA Bildung & Kultur. The related agenda can be read here.

In this project we aim to place a particular focus on empowerment and participation of young people of African backgrounds. This focus evolves from the finding that youth with African backgrounds so far have unequal chances for participation in societies of EU countries. Besides opportunities for participation in fields such as education, the labor market, entrepreneurship, culture and the media, this is particular true for the political field.

More about the project can be found in the project flyer (see attachment).
